New twist comes over much-discussed phone-surveillance amendment bill

The postponement was made at the request of the government, during the extraordinary morning session of the Legal Committee, which was held behind closed doors.
The bill provided for the granting of the right to the head of the KYP, to grant permits for surveillance, following a judicial request.
